Common Questions
How do I add a new field?
Tap the "+" button on the main screen. Enter your field name, select a crop type, set your watering interval, and you're good to go.
How does the weather feature work?
CropFlow uses Apple WeatherKit to check the forecast for your area. If rain is expected before your next scheduled watering, the app will suggest postponing. You can always override this and water anyway.
How do I share fields with my team?
Go to a field's detail screen and tap "Share." You can invite anyone with an iCloud account. They'll see the field, its schedule, and all watering logs. Everyone can log waterings.
Does CropFlow work without internet?
Yes. All core features work offline. Your data syncs to iCloud automatically when you're back online. Weather features require a connection.
How do I delete my data?
Deleting the app removes all local data. To also remove iCloud data, go to Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Manage Storage > CropFlow and delete the data there.
How do I draw a field on the map?
When adding or editing a field, tap "Set on Map." Choose "Outline," then tap the satellite map to drop each corner of your field. You can search any address from the search bar to fly the camera to a location far from where you currently are.
How do frost warnings work?
With CropFlow Pro and a field that has a location, the app checks the 5-day forecast for overnight lows below 35°F. If a cold night is coming, you'll see a frost warning banner on that field's detail screen so you can cover or protect cold-sensitive crops in time.
How do I delete a watering log I added by mistake?
Open the field, scroll to "Watering History," and long-press the log you want to remove. Tap "Delete Log" and confirm.
Is CropFlow free or paid?
CropFlow is free to download. CropFlow Pro is an optional subscription ($9.99/month or $89.99/year) that unlocks unlimited fields, weather forecasts, frost warnings, custom watering schedules, and analytics. Cancel anytime through your Apple subscription settings.
